San Juan School for Adults operates at two sites: Sunrise Tech Center and Creekside Adult Center, as well as eight satellite sites located in district elementary schools, helping parents to support their children in school by learning English and using technology. This encourages family literacy which is a valuable asset to the community. We are an integral element in providing educational services to the community and the student population is reflective of the community and the district population.

Our program offers ESL and citizenship classes. This is by far our largest student population, currently serving 4,500 students. We also offer ABE, ASE/GED,CTE, apprenticeships and community education classes.

Aligned with the district as a whole, Adult Education is currently experiencing expansion in response to community needs. Our mission states: Through the development of critical thinking and 21st century skills, San Juan Adult Education empowers every student to meet his or her learning goals and strengthens their contributions as members of the community.
